Road trip!!

Today we start our holidays with a drive to Edinburgh. Stopped for lunch half way at the lovely little town which is Knutsford, Cheshire. Truth is it was an all day breakfast in the Booths supermarket café, delicious!

The photo is courtesy of my lovely co pilot whilst I was driving along the A74(M) having recently entered beautiful Scotland.

We stopped to visit a work colleague of RF's who she had never seen in person and had a very nice sit and chat in their garden and play with the dogs.

First night was with friends who had prepared a lovely curry and cold beers. A good start!
