Peppercorn tree, Hurtle Square

Busy day traipsing around numerous outdoor and active wear shops looking for new trail shoes for J. A successful mission in the end, she’s now the proud owner of an awesome pair of Solomon shoes and Scarpa boots. Happy that she was able to get shoes she liked after a frustrating time trying to buy a dress online. 

A pricey and ‘exclusive’ dress offered by someone claiming to be a high end fashion designer. J placed her order, and was immediately presented with a Shopify payment error message. She emailed the store to let them know about the problem, and at first they were remarkably good about it, said they’d send the dress anyway and sort out the payment after. Next, an email from the store with a ‘solution’ recommended by Shopify, which required J sending screen shots of her credit card and bank details. Hmmm, alarm bells were ringing. Then surprise, surprise, after declining to go ahead with the purchase the response was less than friendly.

All in all a good day. Good to have sunny weather back. Good to see J happy. Good to be cooking healthy meals ready for the week. Good to be back to game night.
