Lady's Tower

Lady's Tower was built in the 1770s as a summerhouse for Lady Janet Anstruther. Lady Janet loved to bathe in the sea and she used the tower for changing before going for her swim. Sadly the tower was in ruins by the mid 19thC.

Anyone walking the part of the Fife Coastal Path from Elie to St Monans couldn't fail to notice the tower which lies behind Ruby Bay.

A glorious day without yesterday's really strong wind.
