We started the day by watching the latest independent SAGE report on the current state of the pandemic. It's a very informative 1.5 hours discussion of the current data and implications.It seems to me that the pandemic has exposed underlying issues that the West struggles to cope with. The UK government is particularly disinterested in dealing with the well-known issues.

Wonderfully sunny day spent wandering the streets and going out for lunch sitting in the sunshine. I could get used to this.
