Sally Mair - Loving life

By Sallymair

Mmmmmmmm!

Church this morning, lovely and warm in the sunshine. I was on coffee duty so was there early and stayed late.
Once we got home I managed to finish the magazine article I started a couple of weeks ago and to write the talk I need for Thursday so I was very pleased about that.
We had a quick snack to keep us going and then headed across to Ali and Stuart's. They'd been promising us pizza in their new pizza oven and today was the day! It was delicious.
Nice to see them both settling into married life and prospective parenthood. We watched the England - Croatia match with them, not something I can get excited about I'm afraid, now pizza on the other hand :))
I gave the garden a good water when I got home, the forecast keeps promising rain but it's not actually happening. Not that I mind, I'll happily keep watering things and enjoying the sunshine.
Early night for me tonight I think. I've put a picture of my white peony as an extra. It's full of bits and flowers and it's going to look wonderful if the rain doesn't get it first. Ali has some of the blooms in a vase. They have a wonderful scent.
Keep safe and well everybody.
