The Generous Gardener

I love it when the roses start to bloom.  This is a particularly lovely rose which I have not had in my garden for that long but it grows strongly and the flowers are wonderful.
It has been a very hot day.. glorious infact.. barely a cloud until around 4 o'clock when they started to gather.  With little wind it was welcome to have some less intense heat. 
More planting today.. the tomatoes which have been out for a couple of weeks are now beginning to look happy and strong so I have a couple of weeks march on Monty who only put out his tomatoes on Friday .  They are flowering already!
