It's Pouring!

Year 2 Day 83 of UK COVID-19 Pandemic.  First UK Vaccine 189 days ago. UK open. Minor restrictions. Overseas travel seriously restricted.

A day spent at home sorting and cleaning after son and family left after five days! On top of that we had the builders arrive at 8am to get the site ready for the cement pouring about 2pm. The blipfoto shows builder Alan and assistant Leon watching on as it's piped into the footings. A couple of neigbours came and watched the free show!

The first extra is the first of two cement lorries needed to pump in 10 cubic metres. The second is the builders talking to site manager Robyn.

It's going to be an enjoyable peaceful evening after the long weekend. Good to get the 'pour' over but a second will be needed after the drain is moved and the floor insulation laid.
