Birch sawfly

A working day where my eyes were glued to the screen for most of it. This evening was spent returning some work trousers that I ordered but were too long in the leg for me, what do I expect from a Swedish company when I have short legs.
Saw this insect about an inch long that I haven't noticed before, looked it up and confident to say it's a birch sawfly.
Now to pack for an early start tomorrow
