A bird in the hand ....

#2 daughter and ‘Nellie’ came to visit us this morning at our caravan site. Two baby Robins decided to fledge just as Nellie was let out of the car and she rushed to see the poor little fledglings attempting to take their first flight. Luckily we were on hand to rescue them and put them back in the barn. Mum or Dad was calling to them so we hope that the little darlings were not too traumatised to take to the air and safety again.

Afternoon spent with #2 daughter and retrieving Lily from school whilst Mr HB enjoyed a quiet time on his own, reading and snoozing in the sunshine.
