Lunch

We had some errands to run over the hill, which is always a good excuse to have interesting food.  Here we have giant Korean dumplings and an assortment of banchan (side dishes) that range from spicy kimchi to pickled radishes, savory spinach, seaweed, broccoli, kale and a few more that I couldn't identify. It's great leisurely fun to sit there and try all those flavors. It was also interesting to see the changes that the pandemic has wrought on the mall that houses this restaurant--so many places closed, so easy to find parking, so many empty tables even in the places that were open. My favorite bubble tea place survived, as well as the pastry shop, so I was able to get a few tasty things to eat in the car on the way home, just in case we got stuck in traffic and were in danger of starving. Needless to say, neither of us had much of an appetite for dinner.
