Ploughed earth

Took the dog for a walk through the fields early today. There were lots of signs of spring but this newly ploughed field caught my eye. It looks like a winter scene - I guess that the farmer could not plough until recently because the winter was so wet.

It is good that the ground is starting to dry out.
