Pink and scrunchy

...is how I would describe this pretty patio rose given to me by friend J for my birthday recently. 

As usual by this time of day I'm all out (or all in, depending how you look at it). 

Saw a baby seagull - tiny bewildered bundle of fluff - that had become separated from its parents. Someone was attending to it; I do hope it will be ok.
