Kingfisher

A morning of dippers, grebes and kingfishers.
Visit to Yarrow Country Park in Chorley. Not intended to be a birding expedition, the longest lens I had with me was 200mm, but when the kingfisher posed so nicely I had to at least attempt to take his portrait.
This is an extreme crop and not the best quality but since it is my first photograph ever of this iconic bird I felt it deserved to be todays blip.
