FOSSILS IN STONE

Mrs.. P...  when she was about ten years old, went for an educational geological outing lead by the very well known Museum Curator Doctor Roger Duff.  Mrs. P' has never forgotten it and she has a lasting interest in geological things..  This small rock was the find of the day for her as they fossicked amongst the Cliffs near Motunau.   The imbedded fossils are very clear which made her very excited by the find.  Here it is around 55 years later. a small number of years to add to the thousands of its true age.
