Mixed Emotions

My cousin came down to see us today. We worked it out that we’d not seen each other for about eight years but we effortlessly picked up where we left off. It’s good to have that bond with family.

She was with us when we received some upsetting news later in the day, so we had an air hug and a good cry.

Later a friend brought over flowers.
