I was surprised to see this today.

Lern Planet was where I learned my flawless Deutsch.  

Oh no.  It wasn't.  I learned through loads of practise and countless grammar exercises.  And being corrected every time I opened my mouth at home.

Lern Planet was where I went to sit with a bunch of people who for the most part never bothered to do anything - apparently they would learn everything by just being there and if they didn't then that was the teacher's fault.  It's amazing how everything is someone else's fault.

It was hot today - like really hot.  It's coming up for 6pm and it's still 30°C outside in the shade - if you can find any.  It's way too hot to sleep - even Mr Freeze here has kicked off his quilt and sleeps on a sheet and it's still unbearably hot.

And tomorrow the temperature is going to go up again.  I expect 36°C in the afternoon.

My brain melts after 25°C.

PS My Deutsch is not flawless - it never will be.
