Marsh orchid

Out walking the dog with my neighbour and her furry friend this afternoon and another couple pointed out all the marsh orchids growing alongside the buttercups. To be honest I didn’t know what a marsh orchid was (!) but looked more closely and like the way it looks like lots of little orchids.

I’ve just seen another blipper using the tag ‘Wild Wednesday with thanks to Cailleach’ so I’ll tag this. Why not?!

(I tried to read a book once about a man who decided to try and photograph every single orchid species in the UK but it was as dull as it sounds sadly!)

Not much else happening except I woke up at 4am thinking about curtains! Must make sure to relax tonight :)
