Diss an’ dat

Ben’s dissertation arrived today.

It deals with the importance of ancient woodlands and maintaining or creating ‘connectivity corridors’ for the wildlife.

Did you know that ancient woodland sites once covered 85% UK, 15% by the 11th century and now no more than 2.5%?

Neither did I.

Also on the mat was a flyer with this proposal for yet another new development of up to 450 new houses next to our village. Not far from the ancient woodlands in Ben’s study.

I won’t be supporting the proposals.
