On his knees....

Andy came today to position and plant our new bed with the plants we chose with his help two weeks ago. I’ve watered them regularly ready for his visit. We’re both thrilled, me more noisily so than my other gardener but I couldn’t contain myself. It’s hug worthy! It will spread and grow upwards and outwards and tonight it’s getting a wonderful watering from the sky.

This morning six of us from the days of teaching at a particularly great school met for coffee for the first time for months. It now falls to me to organise a picnic which will mean many an email, phone call or letter but it will be worth it.

Gosh, it’s been hot and humid today. I’ve done more than glow....
