Butterfly Iris

Another plant that comes up in our garden wherever it feels like it, but it's pretty so I leave it alone, even when it grows through cracks in the sidewalk. Our thermometer topped out at 94 degrees this afternoon, and I know it was hotter in other parts of town. Not good when we're worried about drought and fire hazards, but the tomatoes seem to like it. People and cats stayed inside.
