Slightly odd corner of North Uist

Hercules the bear escaped whilst filming an Andrex advert of all things on Benbecula in 1980 and he was 'on the run' for three weeks. This statue was put up to remember him.
Then he died and he is now buried here under the gramite plaque visible to the right. Then, and to my mind where it gets a bit odd, his owner died and is buried here too, under the smaller metal plaque just visible to the right.
At least the wood provides a sheltered walk on a pretty gloomy day such as today.
