Mud! Mud! Glorious mud!

I took my Aunt out for her belated 90th birthday! (It was only last December.) But we were in a lockdown situation then, so couldn't go out for a meal, and the weather was pretty awful.

Today was completely the opposite. We were able to have lunch out, and the weather was beautiful. In fact it was rather warm. She's keen on her animals so we went to the Peak Wildlife Park.

Other than the pig, seen here, and the penguins, who had water to dive into, many of the animals were flagging a little in the heat. Even the meerkats were flat out sunbathing and not doing their usual digging.

There were a few new additions in the lemur area and even they were seeking the shade.
