Forester Moth

Yes this pretty insect with the luminous green coat is a day flying moth, pretty and not common at all. Now found in only a few sites in the UK.
It was a lovely sunny day so I was out and about all day with friends, lots of butterflies and moths flying including the six spot burnet moth and the Common blue butterfly in extras. Also say an Orange tip, Small heath, Small copper butterflies.
