Edinburgh’s New Town - World Heritage Site

Most of Edinburgh’s NewTown has its rubbish collected by way of gull proof bags the contents of which are collected weekly. However the Council plans to drop this scheme in favour of communal bins that a) are unsightly and b) attract bad practice in people dumping bags in the street which the gulls attack as seen in the photo of Wemyss Place this morning.
