Manorbier

"A quotation is a handy thing to have about, saving one the trouble of thinking for oneself, always a laborious business.”. A.A.Milne

While K1 settled down to read, I headed through the woods for a morning walk to Manorbier to get some bread. All was quiet and I had the path to myself, most people were heading for the beach. The church was still locked up, so I contented myself with a few minutes on the bench overlooking the bay. Afternoon excitement was a drive towards Pembroke, but we didn't get any further than Lamphey, when K1 saw empty tables outside the Lamphey Hall Hotel and decided it was time for a cream tea. So a quick U-turn and in we went for a relaxing tea in the afternoon sunshine. We’d just about finished when the proprietor settled down at the next table for an afternoon break after the rush, so we had the pleasure of his company before heading back for our post cream tea siesta - it's a busy life.
