Suilven

Our last day here began with the craft market in the village hall (genuine skilled craftsmen, not cheap souvenir-grade) which was followed by a 1.5 mile walk from Glen Canisp Lodge for a better view of Suilven. Cuckoos were calling, beetles were crawling, damselflies and moths were flying under a blue and puffy-cloud sky.

On the way home we stocked up on pies from the famous pie shop (that's tomorrow's tea sorted) and, after a late lunch in the garden, I investigated 'our' rocky shore, chatted to the sheep and checked out the tadpoles in 'our' pond.

Soon it will be time to look out for our regular evening guests, the deer. If they oblige I'll add an extra later.

Then it'll be packing ready for tomorrow's loading and departing our cosy cottage for the trip home.
