Saw

A rose sawfly - on my rose! Apparently their babies can strip a rose and make it wilt. Not sure they deserve to be killed for that, as they are rather beautiful as well. It’s been spotted on my wild rose so that may act like a decoy and it will leave my other roses alone...
I will keep an eye on them and their brood
