Goat Island Lighthouse

Went to the beach this morning. Long stretch of white sandy beach that runs 3 miles long. It was a. It windy on the water, which made it a bit cool, but the sound of the waves beautifully loud. After lunch we went to Kunnebunkport, a small little seaside town with the usual gift shops and restaurants. We then continued on to Cape Porpoise and had dinner there. From that point you can see the Lighthouse on Goat Island. The Lighthouse apparently was also used as a command post for U.S. Secret Service agents defending the family compound (in Kennebunkport) of President George H.W. Bush. Tomorrow we are going to Portland.
