BAHRAIN has been witnessing a steady fall in Covid-19 infections with the test positivity rate plunging to 3.77 per cent
Number of infections also dropped to 487 yesterday after hitting a high of 3,274 on May 29
Last week that Bahrain recorded a 44pc drop in Covid-19 infections
A total of 291 fatalities have been registered this month, an average of 17 a day.

The Delta variant of Covid-19, first identified in India, is becoming the globally dominant variant.

Britain has reported a steep rise in infections with the Delta variant, while Germany predicted it would rapidly become the dominant variant there despite rising vaccination rates.
