Cheese-slicer imprint

Found imbedded in the sidewalk around the corner from Berkeley’s major cheese store. A Swedish friend tells me that this kind of cheese slicer is Norway’s contribution to world culture.
(Apologies to all Norwegians out there; I am just amused by these Scandinavian internecine jabs, proof that “the narcissism of small differences” is still a governing factor in human relations.)
