Kathy and Jim came to see us this afternoon bringing Mr I’s Father’s Day present - these wonderful cupcakes made by a local lady who has just started her own business, and 2 bottles of sparkling mead. We sat outside with a fire (it’s quite chilly today, not at all like June should be) and enjoyed all of it. Cakes were delicious and so was the mead. Then we cooked some bacon on a grid above the fire. Nelly and Ziggy loved all of it.
