Lighted Hills

We spent last night in Phoenix, Arizona, where it reached at record high of 118º F (48ºC). An air conditioned hotel room never felt so good, so good in fact we never left it after we arrived (food delivery is a great thing). With another hot day coming, we got on the road early this morning for our trip to Puerto Peñasco. These hills, off HWY 85 near Gila Bend, looked really cool as we sped by at 75 MPH (120 km/h), but they didn't come out as well as I would have hoped with only my travel camera. It is good to be back home, even if it is unusually hot.
