I don't know the name of this allium, but it's quite small in stature and dimensions. After its more substantial neighbours are well past their best, this unassuming variety comes to the fore.

I liked the juxtaposition of blue against the orange tinged leaf and I used a shallow depth of field to separate the main stem from the one behind.

I'll have to see if the flowers open up further.
