It never rains in the Lake District!

I was really banking on it raining today as we have had no significant rain for several weeks now.  Given that we were "guaranteed" rain this weekend last Wednesday I applied some lawn care product to fertilise the grass and to help control moss.  The instructions said that if it hasn't been rained on within 4 days you need to water it.  Of course the weather all this weekend has been sunny and warm so I had to set to with the sprinkler and water our lawn.

I felt I could not take my regular walk out into the Bay with my long birding lens today.  There was a naked Bay Walk taking place and I thought the sight of a long telephoto lens could lead to some wrong assumptions as to what I was photographing!
