Landscaped.....

We walked from Rocester in East Staffordshire today.  We passed through the village of Ellastone and the hamlet of Prestwood. We also stopped for lunch at the Denstone farm shop and cafe.

We're trying to up the ante on the walking from for our walking trail holiday in September. So we're doing at least 2 days at a time and trying to increase the mileage.

It was a more level walk than yesterday, but still with a few meadows and very high grass and nettles to navigate.

The walk ended alongside the wetland nature reserve at the JCB factory near Rocester. The extra is the Fossor. (Latin for digger) A huge sculpture created by Walenty Pytel, from the excavator parts of JCB machinery.
