Lynmouth Breakwater

We've had another lovely day in North Devon. Although it was a bit damp and misty early on, we made the most of the day. We Headed to Lynton first and rode the cliff railway down to Lynmouth before getting some lunch. With the weather still iffy, we headed into Exmoor and had a drive around some crazy narrow roads in the mist. With the weather improving, we headed to the Heddon Valley and took a walk out to the Heddon Mouth. As we sat on the beach (second extra), Annie imagined how lovely it would be to see a seal in the water and then reality delivered when a seal head just popped up in the water a little away from the shore. A rapid switch of camera lens and I caught it (first extra)!

We headed back to Lynmouth for a fish and chips supper and with the tide out, we walked out on the breakwater from where the main blip was taken.
