Second-time-around

Finding no people!

I managed to get to Charlestown just as the sun was breaking through after a grey start, and early enough for it not to be too crowded.  I managed to find a photo view without people.  I took a similar view almost a month ago - here - but today I liked the pigeon looking down on it.  A month ago the deckchairs were more higgledy-piggledy and there was also a boat in the water.  It sort of shows that you can never get the same photo twice.

Hanging from the very loose rope running along the edge near the water is a notice saying 'DO NOT SIT OR LEAN AGAINST THIS BARRIER'.  It is totally obvious, without having to read the notice, that if you leaned on it you would fall into the harbour!  But that's Health and Safety for you!

Everywhere is packed again.  I feel limited to going out in the evenings evening or first thing in the morning if I don't want to be among crowds.  Infection rates are STILL rising in Cornwall, as they are practically everywhere, but they seem to be rising faster here, whereas in the past we were way behind the rest of the country.  Apparently the infection rate has risen in Cornwall by 900%, and St Ives has the highest rate of 722 per 100K.  Only now are some of the news media saying it was the G7 that was responsible - calling it a 'superspreader'.  Boris's gift to the county.  He doesn't care - he's out of it.
