Father's Day

I spent the afternoon in the Botanic Gardens and thought of my Dad, he would have loved the blue Poppies. The pond had some tiny Newts and pink water lilies. There was a swarm of male Bees doing a dance outside of a small crack in the wood for the Queen who was watching from inside or listening, the buzz was quite loud, fascinating to sit and watch for a while. 

It was Humid, so a light sprinkle from the garden sprinkler was refreshing.

I know my Dad would have loved to walk around here. Oh there was a Mother Duck and 6 little ducklings. Happy Fathers Day, the last 8weeks have flown, hope you're settled in now, wherever you are x
