Wise Words

Just a screen grab of something that took my eye this morning after a bit of a fractious start to the day with the 14 year old. Man it is a tough age - when they seem to feel the weight of grown up feelings but without the maturity of knowing what do with them. She also has exams at the moment - her first as her Year 8 ones never happened due to covid and the Year 9 one that would have happened in January this year also were postponed. They now have taken on a disproportionate level of importance in her mind which is stressing her out - both of us trying to manage this is definitely taxing...and I just need to remember that it is mostly comfort she is looking for and not solutions.
