Song Thrush

I enjoyed another very cold but sunny lunchtime walk in Lickey Woods today , but didn't see anything inspiring for a blip. During the afternoon I had the camera at the ready in the hope of something unusual among the garden bird life.

I was lucky because a song thrush showed up and spent a few minutes feeding on the lawn. We get loads of blackbirds but I hardly ever see a thrush in the garden.
