Last day in Maine

Last day in Maine today, and since we were catching the 9 pm ferry from Bridgeport, Connecticut we had time to kill. After breakfast we headed down to Perkins Cove. Very quaint little spot. On a whim we decided to do a sailboat cruise. Our captain’s name was Steven Perkins. Coincidence that he had the same name as the cove? He is a native of Ogunquit and he said he could trace his family back to the 1600’s. How amazing is that! He was fisherman most of his life.
After the sail we had our last Maine lobster roll (I had one each day I was there).
We ended up getting on the 8pm ferry. Had a nice few days with some beautiful scenery and enjoyed hearing the New England accent.
