Princess in the tower

Yesterday we took my granddaughter to Llanymynech Rocks to look for fossils just as I'd taken her dad when he was in his dinosaur phase.  There are fossils of shells, corals and other things in the limestone rocks and scree so she had a great time looking for them.  There's an extra of F letting her look at one through his monoscope.

We watched a group of young people learning to absail down the cliffs and had a walk and looked at the flowers before returning home.

In the afternoon she put on her princess dress and we went over to the castle where she looked the part as she stood in the tower.  I don't know how she was able to climb on the walls in a long dress without tripping or ripping it!

They went home last night - it was lovely having them here and I'm looking forward to the next visit!
