Light fingers

I went down to Palmerston this morning and bought a coffee then headed back up to Bushey to have it while I chatted to Blaze (metaphorically).

This morning the most amazing light fingers were filtering across the paddock, appearing to reach out to his cross.

Usually when I visit his roadside cross I give the area around it a bit of a clean up but the ditch was too muddy and wet today; if I'd got down there it would probably have been too slippery to climb out. I didn't fancy my chances on anyone randomly pulling over on State Highway 1 in a 100km zone!
