Pink sky

...tonight, casting a hue over these lavender and day lily plants. It was blissfully clear and cool today and would’ve made a super gardening day, but I was indoors.

Little piano student Janessa was very sleepy today after a big swimming birthday party yesterday (said she fell asleep making her bed this morning, poor thing), and unfortunately the next piece for her to work on was a long lullaby. It even put the cat to sleep. He was zonked out on the sofa after she’d been sight reading for awhile.

Pesto tonight, yum...and an early sleep.
