A view across the pond

Morning walk past our local ponds sitting so prettily in the glorious sunshine. Our swans have moved on elsewhere, I wouldn't be surprised to find them on one of our rivers as they were definitely moving in that direction with their cygnets on recent sightings. If you look carefully you will see the heron sitting vigilantly in it's usual spot. I have included a closeup as an extra.
