Over time, we are working our way through the woodfired pizza options at the Starfish Deli in Batemans Bay; the topping we chose today was Calabrese Salami, Red Onion, Mushroom and Garlic Oil - lipsmackingly scrumptious. But a pizza blip is for another day. As we ate, a pleasure-cruise boat came alongside the wharf in front of us, on its return down the Clyde River from the historic village of Nelligen, once a considerable logging and trading centre.
