A Tribute to Life.

Gloria's traveling socks.

One cannot have enough socks, that's what Gloria thought while hand Washing her socks in the sink, her eyes found the old delicate frame in front of her, within the mirror. The wall mirror was hanging on a fine black delicate lace. Next to the mirror a few other little frames asked her attention. A second look at the little frames made her smile. Who else could be better inside the frame as one of the most famous actress of Italy in the fifties, Sofia Loren.
Yes, she was in Italy, and yes, that made her happy. It was the fourth time she traveled to Italy, and emotions were like the first time ....
a feeling like falling in love again, being in love again.
Catching up with her eyes in the mirror Gloria noticed that her dark eyes ,were in contrast to her pale skin.
Generally she appreciate just to avoid mirrors, because mirrors are sometimes too honest, not always it shows beauty and joy, or a generous smile, sometimes you can see tiredness, eye on eye, eye on soul, subconscious changing in conscience.
Gloria thoughts tacks, yes that's what happens, good mirrors are reflecting on you, they show you how to see yourself as you really are.
A sound, a melody, music ... a dream ... tinkle, tinkle, tinkle, tinkle, tinkle, tinkle. A voice is whispering....
Hear Gloria, listen to the mellow wedding bells , to the sound of golden bells, listen to the swinging and the ringing and the tinkling of the bells.
Listen to the world of happiness coming down the green rolling hills. Look to the white flock of sheep, all in tune. Listen to the rhyming and the chiming of the bells. Wash your socks, smile in the mirror, and never forget the tinkle bells, even in the silence of the night.
