Peonies in the Garden

Lovely warm evening last night - blankets surplus to requirements for our book club meet. . Mixed reviews for The Midnight Library by Matt Haig, personally I enjoyed some of his earlier books better. So lovely, though, to meet up and get another years book selection sorted.
We have several peonies in the garden, personally I love seeing the flowers emerging from tiny balls to glorious blossom. ‘Bowl of Beauty’ - what a great name - features largely in this montage
