Orsay Island

The Rhinns of Islay lighthouse was built by Robert Stevenson at a cost of £9000 in 1825 on this small island off the west coast of Islay. The ruins of the 6th century St Oran's chapel is seen to the right. Extra, grey seals relaxing at low tide.
