Sticky weed

I have been weeding out the Galium aparine the sticky weed. A mischievous  child attached them to me. 
The leaves and stems are covered in small hooks by which the plant hitches a lift to a new site. It smells of hay when dried, is edible though I've not tried plus its good for stuffing mattresses!
